The Role
Really enjoyed my internship, was great to get practical experience in such a well known company.
Felt really part of the team as soon as I started. I was trusted with work and projects from all of my team members.
I was assigned a buddy when I started which was a big help to get me on my feet as they were there to help get all of my equipment set up, also throughout the whole placement each member of my team were very approachable and very helpful.
I was not too busy or under any stress at any point during my placement but still had enough work.
I was part of a large team so collectively deadlines had to be made which I gave a hand to make achievable.
The skills I have made on my placement here at HP will be invaluable to me not just in my final year of university but throughout my future working life
The Company
The office atmosphere was very relaxed, friendly and fun.
I was one of the first interns to come to my department with HP 3Par this year so some aspects could be worked on.
there was ample training available and my development was the key aspect of my placement here.

Not sure of what opportunities are coming up but our manager will be in contact if anything comes up.
The Culture
We made our own social scene with the other students and staff great way to meet people.
The cost of living is quite low compared to other parts of the UK and socializing will not put you out of pocket either.
During University term time the Nightlife is really good all week, during the summer it dies down a bit to more at the weekends.
Only a few but weren't suitable for me
