The Role
I enjoyed all of my placement, I had a wide variety of jobs and the people I met were all so helpful!
All of my colleagues were very welcoming and kind.
As well as my weekly one to one meeting with my manager, there was also the chance to have an additional mentor! I took advantage from this and had lots of support and guidance from both of them.
Some days were busier than others, I depended on the time of the month as sometimes there was busier periods.
I had to deal with some sensitive data and therefore felt as if I was valued and trusted by management.
There is no way I could have learnt the skills I now have at University, taking this placement year will be great on by CV for the future as well!

This year has allowed me to network throughout the campus, so I am hopeful I will be returning at somepoint!
The Culture
There was only 8 interns within the campus I was in. We all got along and had a few social gatherings throughout the year.
You need to travel about 20 minutes to get into the city centre where the nightlight is great!
Lots of opportunities to get involved with charity work and other events.
