The Role
I loved my placement year, it was challenging but I had strong sense of support from my team
The majority of my colleagues were extremely respectful and I do feel valued by them, however there were situations where some colleagues treated me differently due to my title "intern"
My manager was great, she looked after me every step of the way and always had time to guide me, I had a lot of advice given from many of my colleagues too
I always had something to do
At first I was given a cold area to recruit for, then I moved onto another area which was a lot more developed
I will definitley be able to utilise these skills in my University degree as I can use it in relation to CV writing, Interview techniques and even my time management skills
The Company
Good atmosphere, we have weekly incentives which brought the whole office together
When I first had my interviews arranged there was confusion of which offices I had been too, however once I had started it then was well organised
I feel like the company had invested just as much time in training and development as an associate
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I would love to come back to work for Hays
The Culture
great, everyone looks after each other
Obviously living up North is a lot cheaper than down South however I probably would've struggled without my student loan
Great, but I knew the area well as I also go to uni here
I have got involved in the charity raising money for Nepal, as well as helping in our Charity Ball
