The Role
Everyone was very welcoming and helped me get settled in. I learnt a lot about the company and the job.
I felt very valued as a colleague since they were asking me to help out with their up coming reports and reviews. The colleagues would always talk to me and always helped me out if there was a problem.
My supervisors were very helpful with explaining the work and helping me if I needed more explanation or assistance with the work.
I would always ask for more work when I finished my previous work. Some days there will always be more work than others for it comes with the job. If my supervisors had a lot of work and would always try and help them out.
I was given a lot of responsibility with my work than at other companies. I would be learning from my supervisors and was learning the best way to do the job.
I learnt many valuable skills to do the required job and how the business plans may change depending on the property market. I had a big insight into the required job and learnt many skills that are needed that I would not learn at university.
The Company
The general atmosphere in the office was very good. There were rules within the office so people would interact with each other. This helped everyone get to know one another.
The internship was very well organised with emails notifying me the details before the internship had started. The company would always reply to me under 24 hours and the head office would want weekly calls to see if the internship was going well. The company was very helpful for organizing my accommodation and answering my questions.
The company invested a lot of time into me and helped me feel welcomed in the company. They invited me to join their induction company presentation to meet other new staff who had just recently joined. My supervisors invested time into teaching me the theory of the work so I would be able to tackle any problem in front of me.
