The Role
I found the placment extremely worthy and enjoyed being involved in various activities.
My buddy and supervisor (partner) ensured that I felt valued, as did everyone else I assisted.
My partner was interested in me and supported me throughout my time at the Firm. I found the 'buddy' system very useful and the other trainees were also very approachable. HR were always on hand to answer questions and offer further support.
My department was very busy and I assisted several associates with different types of work. I also atteneded court and a client meeting.
Lots! As the department was very busy, I was needed to help out and really get stuck in. All of my work was checked but I felt part of the team.
The placement is very reflective of trainee life and I have found the whole experience of Stephenson Harwood invaluable.
The Company
Despite being busy, there was a real teamwork ethic. Everyone I met was welcoming and hardworking. This is reflected throughout the whole Firm.
Very well organised - We had departmental talks, a talk from the CEO and got to spend a lot of time with the trainees. The Firm really ensured that we got the most out of the week.
International Travel
