The Role
It was a variable experience. I enjoyed the social side and the people but found the job itself a bit tedious and unrewarding.
The colleagues were very personable and grateful for my work.
The nature of the job made it sometimes quite hard to understand what was required but the supervisors were willing to put in the time to help.
Varied a great amount. Especially high during busy season but did lull at times.
The work carried the same weight as people in the immediate years above most of the time but there were a variety of smaller tasks assigned.
I really feel the time management, hours of workm, general communication and confidence will help with my university results and beyond.
The Company
Often very pleasant but sometimes on client sites very awkward and silent. Nothing too aggresive though.
It was clear this was a tried and tested method. It was good to have a similar structure to the graduate joiners.
There was a large amount dedicated to exams at the start though this waned as the placement went on.
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
I don't get enough satisfaction from the job. However this is more due to the nature of the job than the company.
The Culture
It was very good apart from exam periods. It was brilliant in terms of having a large year group who we integrated well with.
Bristol prices. Far better than London but still more than enough for placement salaries.
Bristol had a great amount of nightlife. There were all different sorts of scenes and was always busy.
There were clubs and societys availiable though not enough free time to join them.
