About You
I have enjoyed it so much. My department are incredible, not only do they spend a lot of their (valuable!) time explaining things to me and helping me, I have also got to know them on a more personal level and can chat to them with ease.
I felt valued because everyone was very appreciative of any work I did for them.
Both my supervisor and my buddy were invaluable in terms of both explaining things to me on the work side (so the technicalities of what our department do, etc.) , but also in checking my workload (too much, too little) and the kind of work I was getting. They also have been checking how I have been getting on in general very regularly.
I've learnt some valuable skills here, in particular in my exposure to law, since I didn't do a law degree.
The Company
The insight was very well structured. Everything was very clear before we began, in terms of training, what we would be doing, with whom, in which department and where. Furthermore, there were multiple social events organised, which we were aware of before the scheme started to ensure we were able to attend all of them.
The general atmosphere has been amazing - the other interns are incredible, and we have become a big group of really close friends. Similarly, all of the staff at Nabarro have been very welcoming, and have put a lot of time in effort into both making us feel happy here but also ensuring we get the best possible opportunity while we are here. The firm in general is incredible friendly, and whilst very hard working of course, laid back and fun too.
We had extensive training when the scheme began and it has been easy to approach any members of the firm for help.
As much as any internship could. Of course, it is never the same until you are full time.
It has showed me how fun and friendly the firm are, and although everyone works very hard everyone also likes to have a great time.
I definitely want to be a lawyer.
Everything Else
Paid well for our time here.
There were events just for interns, for interns and other members of the firm, as well as for interns and partners.
They were all really fun, well planned, and enjoyable in general.
Have heard about them.
Definitely, I have had the best time ever here. I've had so much fun and learnt so much.
