The Role
The work will be varied for everyone and every Intern will have a different experience, depending on the project you're put on. However, I really enjoyed my project and found it both interesting but challenging meaning that I learnt a lot and was never bored doing mundane tasks
My colleagues were always very welcoming and happy to help and answer any questions I had. All my efforts were always appreciated no matter how small they were. Tasks as simple as updates the notice board with new graphs never went unnoticed
Everything was explained clearly every step of the way. Where someones I was left confused still, there was no issue in answering questions.
Always had something to do but wasn't finding myself in the office until really late at night
My project was quite complex so there was only so much repsonsiblity I could be given. However, when opportunities arose I was always given the chance
Definitely developed life long transferable skills, from understanding how the department works, gaining knowledge in the project I was involved in, to getting better at using excel. Variety of skills gained!
The Company
Very friendly and a comfortable place to work. Great location too!
Very well organised, I was never left confused. Was also able to contact people for help whenever necessary
Great training from day 1
Subsidised Canteen
Would love to work for PwC
The Culture
Everyone really got along and would always have lunch together/go out for drinks after work
As expected, London is not that cheap. However, it wasn't as bad as expected. It can be worked around with a bit of planning
Buzzing and great area to work in
In such a large company there are always plenty of opportunities, especially with a bit of networking
