About You
The insight as a whole was very informative. From description about the past and future role of the Centrica.
To be honest that is hard to answer as we only spent 6 hrs on site and we were a rather large group. Otherwise we were greated, accomodated very well during the short 6 hrs.
We recieved a talk on applications skills. After owing a CV for so long, I realised it was not really up to standard with the tips we were shown
Again not applicable to answer this question fully, but I would not call the day a waste of time.
The Company
It was structured reasonably well but there is tonnes of room for improvement
I was impressed by the mixture of students who attended the insight day. Everyone was cheerful and talkative and so were the presenter. It was fun.
The insight day was only 6 hrs long. I am unable to answerthis question.
Not much was touched on about engineering and science roles but on a general note, Centrica sounds like an exciting and rewarding company to work for.
The presenters went into depth explaining ethos of the company which is aimed at producing and delievering clean, affordable sustainable energy.
My mind was already made up about Centrica being a company I would wish to work for before attending the insight day.
Everything Else
Had a wonderful lunch as well.
Yes there was an opportunity to network although the time and the number of company employees were insufficient.
Not adequate.
Not many were mentioned except for 5 a-side football and on site gym.
I would for someone who resides in the vicinity of the event but probably for one who lives further away.
