  • Very much - great work atmosphere, lovely people, high levels of responsibility and excellent exposure to an industry (banking) that fascinates me

  • You do feel valued, as mentioned before you are given lots of responsibility as an intern and treated like a permanent member of staff

  • Lots of support, not just from your manager and director but from all your colleagues. Constant training and exercises to help you improve as a consultant

  • Very busy, there is never nothing to do. Your day can go from being very slow, thinking you haven't got much to do, to being the busiest day you have ever had

  • Lots - from day one you are on the phone speaking to very senior people and to clients

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • It will help tremendously - it has made me a lot more confident in person, and has allowed me to learn a lot about the industry I recruit for (Financial Markets), which is useful for an Economics degree

  • Excellent, very professional and corporate but at the same time laid back and fun

  • Very organised and structured, intensive 12 week training course and follow up appointments

  • Very appealing, Hays have an excellent progression structure with a clear route to success, and a great commission structure too. Being the number one recruitment firm in UK&I is also highly appealing

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Excellent social scene amongst the other interns, as well as with university friends at other firms.

  • Standard London pricing (ie: expensive) - circa £180 rent and £5 a pint

  • Excellent - in the heart of the city so lots of different things to do
