About You
Enjoyed the various opportunities and activities throughout the two days at PwC.
Employees did their utmost to fulfil our every needs, whether it be simple requests such as changing sessions to organising fast-track interviews for those who needed them ASAP (many were given interviews the day after the academy)!
Given a lot of guidance in terms of presentation skills and also interview skills, including many of the key competencies needed for the partner interview.
Developed a number of skills relevant to the workplace, including presentation skills, interview skills amongst other things.
The Company
Very well structured in terms of activities during the day and evenings, as well as opportunities afterwards
Really cheerful - employees really willing to share their experiences to students, and everyone was really enthusiastic and engaged!
A lot. Given plenty of advice through specific sessions and from talks to partners and other higher-level employees!
Given the nature of the programme itself, it didn't really help me understand how it would be like.
Learnt a great deal about the culture of PwC.
Would relish the opportunity to work in management consulting for PwC, given all the information given to students.
Everything Else
Employees were all too willing to come over and chat to us, even if only to see how we were doing. Generally engaged in more depth, with insights into their thoughts and feeling regarding the firm.
Able to network with employees and peers over a three-course meal, and also during lunches with members of HR, usually.
Learnt about the flexible working hours and how whether or not you're in a specific line of service, you're able to take some hours out, and simply catch up later at home.
Definitely. No hesitation whatsoever.
