About You
It was jam packed but enjoyable, had a formal dinner with some employees, a more cassual dinner with graduates. Everyone was welcoming.
As it was only a 3 day insight, this question is difficult to answer. I did feel valued in terms of the investment in time the company put into organising then running the academy, especially the time given by senior partners in the business.
Lots of opportunities to ask questions, there was a group project to develop research and presentational skills. Gained lots of insight into the variety of paths employees had taken in their careers. There was an assessment day at the end which ran smoothly.
Teamwork/research/presentation skills from the group project was useful, we pitched the presentation to a panel of employees including a partner. The knowledge gained of the company and the professional sector will allow me to make more informed decisions in the future as to whether it is the industry for me.
The Company
Well structured, got the most out of the 3 days. It was the Aberdeen talent academy , so would have been good to see the local area, the whole program was confined to the hotel.
Enjoyable, there were around 30 students, was relaxed yet informative atmosphere. Lots of opportunity to meet and talk to like minded students.
Group project time, then the assessment day on the final day. Considering it was only for 3 days they invested well.
We didn't see the offices, and the program was broad across all their lines of services, but we could ask graduates any specific questions on divisions.
A lot, they were keen to get the culture across. We got to meet with employees are very stage in their careers who emohasised the opportunities that are available within the company
Quite useful, though still not entirely sure. Made me consider the company more than before i attended
