The Role
Very enjoyable. Had a variety of work to do, with great social events and work atmosphere.
They all were very helpful when I got stuck on a piece of work and gave me great advice regarding actuarial services.
Excellent advice and support. Always took time off their work to sit with me.
Some days I was light on work but they would try their best to find me even little things when they were lacking in big projects.
I understandably wasn't given a lot of responsibility, but I had the chance to do audit memos independently which were then checked by my manager and sent of. That was the biggest responsibility I was given which I do think was perfect for me.
Great knowledge on annuities, money, banking and finance.
The Company
Very nice layout of office which allowed for conversation and nice coffee breaks.
Fairly well set up. The induction programme in Birmingham could have been better set up/more information given before hand. The internship itself was set up seamlessly though.
I was given opportunities to go to many training events and learn n lunchs which was great.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Would love to work here. Its a great work atmosphere (at Belfast atleast)
The Culture
Less interaction between floors but on the floor itself there was a good social scene.
Belfast in general is reasonably priced, and we would never go to very expensive places.
We would normally go to pubs and bars which was perfect for me.
Not many activities in Belfast to get involved in.
