The Role
There is a great work culture in place and everyone has been helpful and friendly. They try to give me as much variety in terms of the work I do as much as possible, so the work itself is interesting.
I have always been supported whenever I had any questions and people have never hesitated to help. I have always been asked what type of work that interested me more so they could allocate me with more work in that area.
We were given an induction training at the beginning, alongside other trainings on the job. Questions are always encouraged and they always answer my queries.
They try their best to keep you busy, but there's only so much an intern can do so there are times on certain days where I didn't have much to do. It also depends on whether your internship coincides with the service line's busy period. If it does, then there would be more things to do.
A lot of the work might be too confidential for an intern to do, or lack the skills and qualification to do, so I helped with whatever work that I can.
Communication skills, problem solving skills and generally working in a corporate environment to prepare me for my future career.
The Company
People who are committed to their jobs but they have quite a number of socials and the office has quite a friendly, sociable environment. I never felt afraid to approach anyone
Overall quite structured and given good opportunities to network with the partners. However prior to the internship it seemed a bit rushed in terms of submitting paperwork and being informed of the induction programme.
We were always given training and encouraged to ask questions and they would never hesitate to help.
Working from home
Great place to work in with nice perks. People here are great with a good work culture. Support and training are given to graduates, so overall a really good company to work in.
The Culture
Yes, everyone was friendly and we get along well.
I work in Reading, and accommodation prices here aren't that high.
A few nice pubs around
There are some social events organised that we could go to.
