The Role
Interesting tasks which change regularly due to me being part of two very different departments - Sales / Governmental Affairs
Very professional and friendly environment.
I was given support to work more independently as this was something I had to work on personally.
Regular flow of work.
Pricing and access to systems allowed me to be able to continue working even if management was away.
Placement is extremely valuable as theory does not really prepare you for work in the same way as experience. The way you behave at work and while studying is very different.
The Company
Very professional and productive.
Extremely organised. When I started I had no issues getting on with my placement.
I wasn't offered training courses however I learned very valuable knowledge 'on the job'.
They have vast opportunities within the company for permanent staff and they like to employ previous interns as they are familiar with the company.
The Culture
Students mostly from UK or Germany which was interesting. There was a good social scene.
I drove to work and didn't live in the area.
Denham is a very easy commute to London and trains run quite often.
Bosch offers employees a social club which organises activities such as theatre trips, gym memberships, parties and other benefits. Students can travel for meetings and attend special events.
