The Role
I have enjoyed my placement with Faurecia, I have gained valuable hands on experience and had experience in a variety of HR areas.
I was treated as part of the HR TEAM whilst on placement and my just a student or a number.
If I ever needed support I could ask my manager for support and guidance. My manager was happy to offer guidance to help me perform to my greatest ability.
Everyday was different, some days were quiet and others I would have a large workload which kept me busy. I have been satisfied with with my workload.
I have been giving the amount of responsibility I would expect on placement. Some projects I was given 100% responsibility which was great.
All of the training I was given is relevant to my HR degree.
The Company
Whilst I was on placement my department changed completely but we all get along and have a laugh with a work balance.
I always have something to do whilst on my placement. And I am treating like a employee.
I completed a number of training courses whilst on placement eg EEF training which will support my studies.
Faurecia offers a great VIE scheme for after graduation I am very interested in this opportunity.
The Culture
All the students get along well and meet up occasionally, we all go for lunch in a local cafe every Friday.
There isn't much in socialising due to small village.
Basically no nightlife
There wasn't any events organised outside of work.
