The Role
I really enjoy my time at Deloitte. Everyone in my department was really friendly and made the effort to get to know me.
Highly, they gave me a great deal of responsibility and I was trusted to carry it out. They were happy to help whenever I needed assistance and they made me feel like part of the team.
A great deal, I was always being asked if I needed any help or if I wanted a more challenging task.
It varied depending on the client and how far along the team were on the project. In the beginning I was very busy as it look me longer to complete tasks as I was unfamiliar with the processes but nearer the end of the placement I was completing tasks very quickly and had less to get on with. However, it was limited what I could assist with, as I had little accounting knowledge so I was given all the jobs possible for the skills that I had.
A great deal, I was trusted to interact with the client one on one and always given tasks to do.
Definitely helped a lot, I was able to apply my studies to real life situations. I know how run an engagement with the client and I learnt many soft skills from being on the job.
The Company
Very friendly and relaxed.
Well organised, I was put on one project for each week and always informed of the arrangements and who I would be working for if we were on a clients site.
A great deal, I was given feedback and this was discussed at the end of every task.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Highly appealing! I will definitely be applying for the graduate scheme
The Culture
