    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very enjoyable good mixture of challenging work and fun office atmosphere

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Was valued both socially and professionally, regularly saw colleagues in social settings and was expected to perform almost as a full time Associate.

  • Always given good support but also given enough space to learn and develop myself.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Could fluctuate depending on clients and projects. Summer is generally a quieter time however I felt very busy most days and an Intern Side Project ensured there was always work to be done.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • As much as possible. This was probably the stand out feature of my internship I was given a great deal of responsibility and encouraged to perform as a full time associate.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Better appreciation of the mechanisms of the business world and made me realise work can be fun!

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Excellent. Another major strength due to very friendly and interesting people who are encouraged to socialise with free beers, regular social events and guest speakers.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very well, it was the first structured summer associate programme so there were minor issues but these all appear to have been addressed for this year's intake.

  • Given the same level of structured training as a full time associate and a great deal of on the desk learning

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Very good 8 interns developed strong bond largely because of side project.

  • It's Mayfair it's going to be expensive but colleagues helped you make more affordable.

  • Central london obviously very good but kinda pricey!

  • Yes always invited to social activities: drinks, dinners, sports, guest speakers to name a few.
