  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of work and met lots of interesting people.

    • Immediately felt welcome and part of the team.

    • Before I started I was allocated a buddy (someone relatively new to the firm) who I could ask any questions to before I started. During the placement, everyone was happy to answer any questions I had.

    • There was always work I could help out with.

    • Given as much responsibility as first year graduate.

    • Skills learnt during my time here will prove invaluable should I be offered a job on the graduate scheme.

    • Very friendly, everyone was happy to talk to me

    • Very well organised, given a clear schedule of what company, city and suitable travel arrangements were.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Only there for a short period of time but company funded both a regional induction day (overnight stay at a hotel) and a service line training day in the office.

    • Offered an interview for a place on the graduate scheme at the end of the placement. Within the organisation, the career progression is very appealing.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • A few of us met up beforehand to travel down together, everyone was very friendly. Company organised a social for us to meet people within the department.

    • Manchester, fairly normal prices.

    • Manchester, everything you could ever want.

    • There was a social organised by the company for the interns. Also invited to play football with people from the team.
