    • Every person in the department took the time to explain everything, despite being busy with their own workload. Every work I was given, my supervisor and buddy explained the wider implications this will have for the department and for CMS. I felt part of the team from the start.

    • Was essentially given the work that trainees were doing, never felt bored or that my work wasn't relevant.

    • The culture at CMS is unrivalled to any other law firm, everyone is friendly and non-hierarchical.

    • Fully persuaded me that I want to become a commercial solicitor at CMS.

    • Had 2 socials (cocktail making and dinner) as well as welcome drinks at the start and end of the programme.

    • Good, opportunity to meet most people within the firm, although the amount of trainees varied since people had to work.

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • Had CSR talk and Diversity talks throughout our 2 weeks. Talked to supervisors about various sport teams.

    • Yes definitely, unrivalled way to learn more about the culture of CMS, the people and the different sectors within CMS.
