The Role
It was a priceless experience.
I worked as part of the team on software releases, doing both development and testing.
I was never left stranded, there was always someone to offer support and help. I had monthly meetings with my supervisor where I could talk openly about any problems I had and he would do his best to solve them.
I was not thrown into anything heavy straight away. I was given time to adjust and learn and was eased into my role.
As the placement advanced and my skills developed I was given more responsibility. I was put on projects where I was required to liaise across teams and discipline.
The skills I learnt here I could not have learnt anywhere else. It was a great experience. It made me a better programmer and a better professional. I am very grateful.
The Company
