The Role
Really enjoyed it and getting to meet lots of friendly faces around the building
Felt an actual part of the team, helping the team to reach deliverables on time.
Always somebody to help or talk to if needed, either by manager, mentor or other colleagues
relatively busy, good balance of work day-to-day
Good level of responsibility in terms of producing own work, and then higher priority work would be checked over by managers
Gained useful personal skills such as presenting and communicating which could be used during my final year, also system specific skills that might be used in later job roles.
The Company
friendly and welcoming.
Well organised in terms of how the programme would run over the course of the year, involving workshops and allowing for shadowing opportunities.
Provided with the opportunity to participate in Intern workshops and also to attend different insight sessions and personal development sessions
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Not many graduate opportunities here.
The Culture
went out together sometimes after work, participated in Social Club activities together
Didn't live in Langley but other interns said not much in Langley but easy links to Windsor and London
Not much to do in Langley itself, but plenty of pubs and bars in Windsor which isn't too far.
Social Club provides opportunities to get involved in different activities such as go karting, bowling, chocolate making, bubble football etc.
