The Role
I have enjoyed this internship.
I felt highly valued by my colleagues. But not comparable to feeling like part of a family.
I was always given work and coached on how to approach it. If I had queries then I could always ask questions and not feel a hindrance.
Always had something to do but it was boring at times.
Made my own judgements and took my own samples. Though I wasn't making any really important decisions.
I feel this internship has prepared me well for a future career, whatever it may be.
The Company
I wasn't at my office for the majority of the internship but the atmosphere in my team was never too intense. It wasn't that lively however.
I think very well.
The firm provided excellent hospitality and made us feel valued. The skills I have learnt in just 6 weeks of client interaction will stand me in great stead for the future.
Company Parties/Events
If you are enthusiastic, hard-working and keen to learn, there is no reason why you won't get a job offer!
The Culture
Of the four interns at my office, we formed a good bond fairly quickly, however we never worked together after our induction week.
Cardiff is affordable.
Cardiff has great nightlife.
Not really other than a couple of socials.
