  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I have enjoyed this internship.

  • I felt highly valued by my colleagues. But not comparable to feeling like part of a family.

  • I was always given work and coached on how to approach it. If I had queries then I could always ask questions and not feel a hindrance.

  • Always had something to do but it was boring at times.

  • Made my own judgements and took my own samples. Though I wasn't making any really important decisions.

  • I feel this internship has prepared me well for a future career, whatever it may be.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • I wasn't at my office for the majority of the internship but the atmosphere in my team was never too intense. It wasn't that lively however.

  • I think very well.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The firm provided excellent hospitality and made us feel valued. The skills I have learnt in just 6 weeks of client interaction will stand me in great stead for the future.

  • If you are enthusiastic, hard-working and keen to learn, there is no reason why you won't get a job offer!

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Of the four interns at my office, we formed a good bond fairly quickly, however we never worked together after our induction week.

  • Cardiff is affordable.

  • Cardiff has great nightlife.
