The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my internship. I gained a real understanding of what it's like to work for JLL.
I spent the majority of my internship within a specific department which made me feel part of the team. My colleagues appreciated my lack of property experience and I was encouraged to ask questions.
I was given a very high level of support. I was explained processes thoroughly. As a regional intern I also appreciated being included in all central internship activities based in London.
Prior to project submissions I was kept very busy writing commentaries and finding comparable data. Quieter periods gave me an opportunity to network with others and complete research.
I was trusted at an early stage with competing various tasks on my own which was rewarding. I never felt micro-managed,
I feel I have learnt many new research methods relating to property. The internship highlighted the requirement to be very organized.
The Company
Very happy and friendly. I was encouraged to participate in after work social activities which I thoroughly enjoyed.
The coordination of the internship by HR in London and my senior managers was spot on. I always knew where and when I needed to be.
Particularly as a regional intern - I was encouraged to visit London and participate in the training sessions. My managers also took the time to evaluate all the work I completed. I received some very valuable constructive feedback, particularly relating to my internship presentation. I had access to all the tools I needed.

I am very motivated to pursue a career with JLL and have been encourage by the extension of my internship.
The Culture
Yes, I was encouraged to play softball and cricket after work. Students and colleagues also invited me for drinks after work.
As I was based in my hometown my costs of living were relatively low. I was also able to cycle to work. Social costs were relatively high but not unusual for a central city office location.
Great. Bristol is very lively.
Yes I was encouraged to play sport and attend other social events.
