The Role
It was very enjoyable however some of the tasks were more mundane but this is common in accounting.
Everyone was extremely friendly and I felt part of the team. Only occasionally did I feel like I wasn't needed because of a lack of tasks within my training and capabilities.
Continuous support from a number of guiding roles. All extremely approachable despite how senior they were.
Some days I had very little on my plate, other days a large amount. Varied from job to job on different sites.
I felt responsible in terms of my work was submitted independently towards the overall job, however the tasks themselves would probably be considered less vital.
On the job experience which was priceless. I was treated as a trainee and not a placement student.
The Company
Always amazingly positive and friendly. Everyone was willing to help.
Very well. I had plenty of information towards how to continue my own development yet I wasn't spoon-fed which is important.
They seem to be investing a large amount as if we were applying for a graduate role which is very good.
Company Parties/Events
It is treated like an extended interview.
The Culture
No notable organised activities, but many invites to fellow colleagues after work
Bristol is fairly expensive, but not too bad if you know where to go.
Very good.
Some but not a huge amount.
