I very much enjoyed the vacation scheme at Taylor Wessing.

All the people I met while I was on my vacation scheme made an effort to talk to me and seemed genuinely interested in learning about my background and my interest in the firm, which made me feel very valued.

I was given a lot of guidance and support during my vac scheme - from both the graduate HR team, to the lawyers I was sitting with in my two seats - everyone was very patient in answering any and all questions I had.

I think the skills I developed during my vac scheme will help me stay motivated and focused during my final year, because I was finally able to see and appreciate how the theory and practice of law fit together.

The vac scheme was very well structured. All of the events (social and networking) were very well-organised and well-placed over the two weeks, and they gave us the opportunity to interact with trainees, associates and partners.

The general atmosphere was really friendly. There truly was an open door policy, which helped to create a welcoming environment.

I felt the firm invested a lot in us as vacation schemers. I felt they were committed to ensuring we learned a lot about the firm and the legal industry in general. They also organised many workshops (Focus On Sessions) and held really nice social events in the evening.

I think it allowed for interaction with a range of trainees, associates and partners, which helped us get a flavour of what it would be like to work at the firm.

The vac scheme helped me greatly to understand the company culture. It truly is forward-thinking and progressive, which I really appreciate!

The entire two weeks was very helpful in reaffirming that a legal career as a solicitor working in the City, is the right career path for me.

These events were very well organised and had a big turnout, which was very nice because it allowed us to interact with a wide range of people.

Yes, there are a lot of sport team activities that employees can get involved in outside of work.
