The Role
The atmosphere at Xerox is really good and the majority of the work is easy to understand and enjoyable.
As the year progressed I was given more and more responsibility and always felt valued by the team.
If I ever had a problem I could speak to my management at all times and they were always willing to help.
Generally busy on a daily basis, but was always a good balacne.
I was always given responsibilty during my placement, particularly as the year progressed.
I have rarely worked in this environment and therefore this year has taught me some invaluable skills. Things I have picked up this year will stay with me for the rest of my working life.
The Company
There is a great balance between work ethic and enjoying yourself. When work needs to be done it gets done, however, when there is less pressure work can be fun!
Placement-scheme at Xerox is ran particulalry well due to the number of students they have here.
The company invested time in my development and also offered several training courses to help develop my skills.
The company offers a sponsorship scheme for interns as well as offering several graduate opportunities.
The Culture
Xerox has a large amount of placement students and therefore the social scene is great and you make loads of friends.
Hosuing etc isn't cheap. However, you can survive quite easily.
Nightlife in Uxbridge isn't bad, but it's also close to London which makes that the better option!
There are always events taking place such as football and other social activities.
