The Role
Really lovely team and lots of socialising. Given a broad range of interesting tasks to work on.
The team were very inviting and welcoming, although due to people being on holiday and the hot desk system, it was hard to meet everyone.
My allocated 'buddy' was a great help, really easy to talk to and always made sure I had the support I needed.
I was given lots of tasks to do and often on short time scales. I never found myself without work.
I was given lots of responsibility in terms of producing documents that were going out to clients and submitting applications - everything was checked by senior staff prior to going out!
I feel I have learnt really applicable skills that will be beneficial in all future jobs.
The Company
Generally quiet throughout the day, but social events in lunch times and evenings made up for this.
Very well organised. There were lots of people on the internship and the introductory training day allowed us all to get the equipment/ skills needed for the internship. We were often in contact with the recruitment team, who offered interview prep and advice when needed.
As a relatively short internship, the investment in personal training was limited to allocated jobs. Although at times it felt like there were preparing you for a potential grad job, other times it felt like we were just on work experience.
Company Parties/Events
I would love to work here long term.
The Culture
There was at least one team or internship event per week.
Living and commuting is very expensive as its London. Lots of the socialising (unless arranged separately by interns) was paid for by the company.
Very good nightlife with good connections to the rest of London.
There are weekly softball competitions in Hyde Park that we were invited to play in.
