The Role
Overall an extremely enjoyable year.
Valued like a proper full time employee and not an intern
My manager gave lots of support and guidance when needed, with regularly 1-2-1's and catch up meetings.
At times we were particularly busy but overall the workload was a good amount, and there was always tasks to be doing.
Very high level of responsibility
It has helped me develop numerous skills this year, they may not be directly applicable to my studies but have enabled me to build a solid foundation to my future career.
The Company
Good, friendly office environment. Everyone was very approachable and helpful.
The placement was very well organised, only criticism is that interns in different departments all start at different times.
There was a handover period with the previous intern that enabled me to get up to speed with the tasks and processes.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
There isn't the opportunity to return to my department, however there are within other departments within the company.
The Culture
We organised several events with the other interns.
Limited, but London isn't too far away.
Only a few.
