The Role
It was an amazing experience and definitely exceeded my expectations. It is a growing firm with high levels of support and devotion to excellent results.
Everyone was very helpful and appreciated my work by giving me even more responsibilities. Feedback was shared on a daily basis and helped me improve my performance.
Continuous support was part of the overall process and the GT culture as a whole. I was encouraged to ask questions and seek answers in order to improve my work and experience.
I was fairly busy with people from all over the department giving me small tasks on a daily basis, with a few larger assignment every two days or so.
People are encouraged to seek responsibility and if they perform well, they will most likely be given more. However, it generally depends on the intern how much help he or she is willing to offer
I consider my training very relevant not just to my studies, but also as a way of work, teamwork and overall methodology to adapt in all my future endeavours
The Company
People in the office and in the firm as a whole (having attended a nationwide conference and two workshops) are very friendly and approachable. They are generally young people (under 40), bright and ambitious, a perfect surrounding for any student
It was very well organised, with all sorts of additional activities (fundraising, training) to keep me busy
The company invested heavily in my personal training and development, including a few trips to places far away for additional workshops and activities
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Future employment prospects are very appealing indeed and I would love to apply for a Graduate position.
The Culture
There was a fantastic social scene amongst fellow interns and colleagues, with plenty of social activities (lunches, pub quizes)
The office was in the city centre, but the costs of living and socialising were not really any higher than in other places.
The nightlife is very vivid in the city centre and there were plenty of opportunities to go out and have some fun.
There was a plethora of interesting activities to get involved in, including fundraising challenges, pub quizes, horse races and what not.
