About You
The organisers were very friendly and helpful. Also a lot of information about the recruitment process. Overall, a very useful insight.
I've had all of my questions answered and everyone was very friendly.
The networking session with graduates was very informative and I received a lot of guidance regarding a future application for a graduate role.
Thanks to this Insight Day I am now fully aware of what is required of my application for a graduate role. I know what to expect during the recruitment process and how to put together a proper graduate scheme application.
The Company
Very well structured with sufficient breaks between the sessions. We also went on a tour of the Bank of England Museum which was very interesting.
Plenty of friendly people, the current graduates I networked with were very friendly and helpful and overall I really enjoyed the insight.
It was only an Insight Day, but everyone was very helpful and supportive. From what I've heard from the other graduates, the organisation is very supportive and it really invests in personal training and development.
The people I met at the bank were very open when it came to discussing their roles at the organisation and I know have a very clear picture of what a full time role requires.
Thanks to the wonderful HR team and the graduates I networked with I am fully aware the Bank of England's role in the economy and how it works with local international partners to achieve its objectives.
As stated before, I fully understand the Bank of England's role and the opportunities it has to offer, making it an amazing organisation to work for.
Everything Else
Travel expenses have been reimbursed.
Plenty of opportunities to meet other employees and discuss full-time roles over lunch. There was also a more formal Q&A session which was very helpful.
Excellent. I've had all of my questions answered and I am now fully prepared to submit my application for a graduate role.
There are plenty of sport teams that represent the Bank of England, there is an excellent work-life balance and I was very pleased to find out that they have a gym.
I would definitely recommend this insight to a friend. Plenty of useful information, plenty of networking opportunities and very friendly and helpful people.
