The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was a great experience, gave me good exposure to the business world and allowed me to build a good network.
My team would make an effort to let me know they value my work and input and they felt I was a vital member to their team.
The majority of my support would be from other interns or those in similar roles to me.
I was very busy rarely had a day where i didn't have work to do.
Quite a lot of responsibility, I was given full ownership of the tasks I do and my team weren't hesitant to allow me to solve any problems they had.
I feel like it has given me a good amount of knowledge and work ethic to get me through final year and uni and feel that this placement will greatly help me when applying for graduate jobs.
The Company
Surprisingly friendly and relaxed.
Very organised, had 3 monthly reviews, a good support systems, good opportunities to learn new skills.
We gained a good amount and training. We got to attend employibilty skills sessions, they conducted careers academy and we also had to do 40 hours of online learning.

I'd like to get a job with IBM but it seems the graduate scheme is very hard to get into and a years placement with them doesn't raise your chances of getting a graduate job with them.
The Culture
Especially where I was based in London there was a great social scene between the placement students as there were so many based at that location.
Expensive as it was London prices.
Very good.
A few.
