About You
An accurate insight into the role of a trainee - with a great mix of departmental work, training and social activities.
Received a two day induction at the beginning and then I also found that those in the department were very willing to help when I asked for it.
The Company
It was nice to get on so well with the other interns and also everyone in my department was personable and easy to get along with.
We had a two day induction which covered general training and IT workshops. There were also frequent breakfast briefings delivered by respective departments about the type of work they did and what a day in the life of a trainee sitting in that seat would entail.
It was good to experience the firm first hand and 3 weeks was plenty of time to get an impression of the culture.
Everything Else
The firm organised a networking evening which was attended by summer students who were interning at the firms clients. It was a useful event to learn about the skill of networking and also put it into practice.
On average 3 social events were organised each week, with them providing a great way to get to know fellow interns and colleagues in a more informal environment,.
