About You
It was very much enjoyable. It included a variety of tasks, such as speeches, a museum tour, a networking lunch with current graduates and even a Q and A with the grads after. It was a good opportunity to meet others in a similar situation as yourself and to network with them as well.
You very much felt welcome, they initially welcomed you and were thankful for everyone turning up. If required they were happy to help you with whatever you desired.
There was a sufficient amount of support. A plan for the day was stated and you were emailed this before so you were very much in the know. Freedom was provided in appropriate scenarios such as the tour and you didn't feel restricted during other tasks throughout the day
I am sure I will continue to utilise the skilled I gained throughout daily life and throughout my working career. The information learnt throughout the day was very helpful in that it helped my knowledge of what particular graduate programs I would be more interested and a bit more about the company itself.
The Company
Very well structured, as mentioned a plan had been emailed so we were in full knowledge of how the day was to be laid out. It followed to plan as well with no major problems so was a very successful day as a whole.
It was a varied day which was pleasing. As you wouldn't want to be sat down all day listening to people speak. So it was well organised and with mixed activities set out in an ideal way. As you were getting along with one task, you were looking forward to what was next in line for the group.
As it was an insight day there is only so much the company could convey within the day but a lead manager and associate were very informative and devoted the time to help us so it was very promising to see.
It was very helpful, they did run through each of the internships and the fact we were able to network with the graduates over lunch as well have a Q and A with them answered every question you could think of. Hence, was an ideal insight as to what it would be like to work for them full time
It didn't give that much of an insight to their culture but more their history and the way they function. In terms of culture, you did get a rough idea of how they worked. We received a large quantity of information on their history which was actually quite interesting.
Pretty valuable, it was definitely a good experience of which I would recommend to others. No actual experience was undertaken but their were certain tasks which were quite helpful and again as mentioned, having the chance to talk to current graduates was very helpful.
Everything Else
They provided free refreshments and a free lunch throughout the day
Yes, we met a handful of graduates all in different sectors during lunch and then they hosted a Q and A with the graduates which was very useful
Very helpful, the networking with graduates was during lunch was handy so it was a good way to pluck their brain and ask them personally any queries you had about anything really!
Yes, during the Q and A one of the graduates mentioned about all the clubs and societies the bank hosted which so many people were involved with, which sounded very interesting.
Definitely, it was a good chance to network with others, undertake fun tasks and see what the company is about. Although only a day you feel a lot was accomplished.
