The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Savills.
I felt I was being utilised and had a reasonably significant role to play within my team.
I was given sufficient help from Graduates and Directors if needed.
Given an adequate and constant stream of tasks to complete.
The amount of responsibility I was given increased throughout my internship. The work I was given increased with liability as time went on.
I found my experience working extremely useful and relevant to my course. This was a huge benefit to me as I saw many theoretical aspects of my course being used within the business. This has put me in a much stronger position for my final year of studying.
The Company
There was constantly a good atmosphere and a sense of teamwork in my department, and in fact the whole office.
The entire internship was clearly thought out and worked very efficiently. There was a good mix of work load, talks and social events.
Savills gave us a good insight into the working of their company with multiple talks from different departments. Also current employees took the time to talk me through their specific roles within certain teams, enhancing my understanding of the profession.
I believe I made a good account of myself while working for Savills.
The Culture
Yes social events were organised which led to a good social scene amongst fellow interns and employees.
Reasonably expensive.
