The Role
I have had a great time during my internship. The programme was well structured with lots of and events put on by the HR team to give you exposure to a variety of different people and a number of different departments within the firm. It was also great to have a good group of other interns doing the same thing, who I got along well with over the course of the 4 weeks.
Everyone in my department was so welcoming to me as soon as I arrived and made me feel part of the team.
The management and my supervisors ensured that the tasks that were set were explained thoroughly and if I ever had a question about anything they were more than happy to assist.
There was always something for me to do. Different members of the team would always be asking me if I had enough work on and If I didn't they were more than happy to provide me with more.
Throughout the duration of the internship I found myself steadily taken on more responsibility, which was great because it gave me time to gain the necessary knowledge and confidence to take on more responsibility.
Having real life exposure to work within this industry will be invaluable to me beyond these four weeks, giving me a flavour for what is required to commence a career in this sector. It has provided me with motivation that I will be able to bring with me to my masters degree in September, to work hard and strive to get a job here in the future.
The Company
Everyone got along well with each other and helped each other out whenever they could.
It was very well organised. We were provided with a schedule at the start of the 4 weeks. This included a number of networking events which were great to meet other people within the firm and interns from other firms doing a similar thing. It also included a number of department overviews which gave an insight into some of the other departments within the firm which was interesting.
Since the day I arrived I felt that the firm did a huge amount to make sure I was getting the most from the experience. This from the people in my team who gave me their time to ensure I was always learning more, to the HR team who provided a variety of other experiences to make sure that I left in a significantly better position than to when I arrived.

Very appealing. This internship has placed Savills at the top of companies that I would like to work for. The placement has given me a feel for the company culture which has particularly suited me. I look forward to applying to their Graduate Scheme in the near future.
The Culture
Yes there was a great group of us. We've managed to arrange drinks most days after work which has mean that I have got to know them well. It was also great for me personally because I got to know a number of people who will be starting the same masters degree as me in September which was great. I'll definitely be staying in touch with a number of them.
Being in London living costs were always going to be expensive, but the financial support provided by the company is more than enough for you not to feel under any pressure, as long as you aren't being too silly with it.
I went for a number of drinks with people from my team but these would mainly take place for a short period after work. I would have liked to have done this more often.
Yes there was always opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work.
