The Role
Very enjoyable. I was give a range of work to do and worked within all of the different teams in the office. From the beginning of the placement I was given a background project which ensured I was always kept busy.
I felt I was given responsibility in the office and asked to contribute to some important aspects of work.
Although I was not overseen by the supervisor was initially allocatred, the management of my internship was extremely supportive and I always felt I had more than enough guidance. The graduate team were extremely welcoming and always willing to help.
On a day to day basis, I felt I always had plenty of work to be doing and was given projects to complete from different people. I also went out of the office a number of times to meet clients on estates which gave me a lot of variety in the work.
I felt I was given a good amount of reasonability to contribute to a different variety of work such as report writing, emailing clients and creating databases. Whilst given responsibility, I always felt there was guidance to ask questions if unsure.
I have learnt a lot more about the current property market and many property terms which will help with my masters degree. Having met with tenant farmers I feel a lot more confident with agricultural tenancy agreements and grant schemes in use at present. Valuation is a key module on my master course, and having contributed to the valuation of a property from start to finish has given me an advantage in this area.
The Company
All staff were very welcoming and friendly, particularly the graduates. The office was good to work in with a calm yet hardworking and professional atmosphere.
Very well organised - both within the office I was working and the from the graduate recruitment team.
Gave me responsibility to work on a number of projects which all contributes to my understanding of the profession and developing my career prospects.

The graduate scheme is very appealing and having thoroughly enjoyed my internship, I will definitely be looking to apply for the graduate scheme.
The Culture
The other graduates were very nice and good fun to work with. During my time with the company there were some organised drinks with other property companies in the area.
