The Role
Varied, interesting week, during which I was able to gain a good feel of what it would be like to work at the firm as a trainee solicitor.
Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.
We didn't spend much time with our supervisors however they were very helpful and have me good work.
Each day had a mixture of time in the office and presentations etc.
The work I was given consisted of small tasks that were always checked.
My vacation scheme was an invaulable insight into life at the firm.
The Company
There were lots of events organised for people on the vac scheme so there was a good, fun atmosphere.
Very well organised with a range of activities set up.
The vacation scheme was only 2 weeks long so there was not much training.
Subsidised Canteen
I had an interview at the end of my placement and was offered a job.
The Culture
Lots of after work activities were arranged for us.
Expensive
Good, lots of bars close to the office
Opportunities to play in firm sports teams.
