The Role
The vacation scheme was well organised and with plenty of social activities as well as legal work.
The fee earners at the firm where very welcoming and happy to share experiences, give advice and get you involved in their day to day tasks.
All tasks that were required to be performed where well explained from the outset and it was possible to contact the fee earners to resolve any queries.
The work does vary depending on the work load of your mentor during the vacation scheme.
There was a lot of responsibility given for the delegated tasks.
The vacation scheme was incredibly useful to gain an insight into the legal career.
The Company
It is impossible to describe the perfect mix of social/ professional atmosphere in the office.
The vacation scheme was well organised although at points you were more involved in various skills sessions than assisting the fee earners.
The firm provides the standard benefits that are provided to vacation scheme students and trainee lawyers in the City.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Having completed a further assessment center at the end of the vacation scheme, I am currently a trainee solicitor at the firm.
