  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Had fantastic exposure to the world of audit, and was involved in 3 different roles during my time

    • My contributions were recognised well and having the opportunity to attend high profile meetings was a pleasure. I always had something to get on with during my time.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Fairly well structured, we were scheduled to different clients each week, if a scheduling problem occurred, there were e learning module to get on with in the meantime.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • Great positive atmosphere in the office, very relaxed and the partners are very visible.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • We had an e learning course we completed during our training day which was a useful overview of audit. Overall the training and development investment wasn't massive, but it was only a 3 week placement so not enough time to have a thorough course.

    • Very well, I received great exposure to different types of audit clients and audit work. Speaking to other graduates was also very helpful in understanding what the experience would be like.

    • very valuable, I received great insight over my 3 weeks here.

    • Pay was adequate for an internship in this industry

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes, plenty. We had a few drinks socials, both as an SVs scheme and individual audit sector ones. Was a great opportunity to meet with graduates outside of the work place

    • They were a good opportunity to get to know others better and share your thoughts and experiences.

    • Yes, Deloitte have plenty of teams join including football, cricket and netball.
