About You
I found the insight program to be a hugely beneficial, informative and positive experience. From day one I was treated as part of the team and have greatly enjoyed developing my knowledge in this area with such an organised and professional company as Savills.
As stated above, I felt completely and fully valued and appreciated within my role in the department. Other department members were positive and trustful in coming forward to me for support with projects and work.
I received all guidance and support as necessary during the placement. All department members were fully inclusive of my participation and were happy to support and assist as necessary. Of particular support were my mentor Chris Skinner, and his fellow building surveyor Alex Gould. Both did everything possible to support and guide me through the placement.
The skills and knowledge that I have developed over the past four weeks will provide huge assistance within my forthcoming degree studies. I could not have hoped for a more effective and beneficial introduction. I am extremely grateful that I have been given the opportunity to complete this placement as a pre-requisite to my course.
The Company
The insight program was extremely well structured. It gave a well balanced introduction to both the overview and more specific elements of Savills and the way in which it functions.
The atmosphere during the insight program was ideal for an effective working environment. I found the atmosphere consistently calm, positive and extremely tuned in to what the ideal working environment should be.
I was given more than sufficient opportunity to take part in training and development within the department while I was here. This involved site visits, progress meetings, departmental overviews and APC training sessions.
The four weeks here during the insight program have allowed me to fully understand how a full time role would be within the company.
For me, the insight program has facilitated a clear understanding of the company culture here at Savills.
The content within my days here has helped me tremendously in deciding my future career path.
Everything Else
I was more than happy with the intern salary that was offered alongside this role.
I experienced many opportunities to network and meet other employees of the company. I was also able to network and make valuable contacts from within other companies.
The networking and social event opportunities were more than adequate!
Yes, it seems that there are many options available for this.
I would certainly recommend the Savills insight process to a friend.
