The Role
Barclays is an incredible company to work for. Many networking opportunities and great support from all colleagues.
My opinion was always taken on board.
Manager always there if I needed help. Regular meetings with manager to track progress.
I could have been busier. Tried to lengthen out tasks to keep myself busy.
Needed more responsibility.
Developed communications skills.
The Company
Very relaxed.
Lots of networking opportunities which were well organised and very informative. My personal work plan could have been planned out from the beginning.
Lots of training events which were very informative.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I would love to work for Barclays full-time in the future! I am very impressed with the company and structure.
The Culture
I spent most lunch times with interns.
I live in London so I am use to expensive rent. I pay £250/week for a flat in Islington which I share with a friend.
I don't go out at night. However, there are a large selection of high quality restaurants in Canary Wharf.
I thoroughly enjoyed the citizenship challenge.
