The Role
My internship was extremely interesting and benefeciail for my future career. I worked on interesting project and was given lot of responsibility, I loved my team and would be really happy to work at Barclays in the future.
My colleagues showed respect towards me all the time and took into consideration all issues or concerns I might have.
I was supported extremely by my line manager, my mentor and my buddy, All of them were amazing people and helped make my experience at Barclays unforgettable.
I was quite busy, but the work was extremely enjoyable so I did not mind the workload. The working hours were completely acceptable.
I was given lots of responsibility from day 1, but I believe I managed to win my colleagues' trust and prove that they made the right choice by entrusting me with lots of responsibilities.
I am at the final stage of my MSc in Management degree and the skills I developed assisted my in my development as a Marketing professional - my ideal future career. I acquired invaluable social skills too.
The Company
The general atmosphere was extremely friendly, people came happy at work in the morning and everyone was extremely approachable.
Very well, the HR team did everything I needed as an intern in order to feel perfect.
I attended several trainings and I was given the necessary support regarding any kind of issue I might have.

I find the opportunity to work at Barclays amazing. People here really live the Barclays values and this is obvious in the overall great atmosphere at the bank. The chances for high speed career growth are great, and this is combined with a challenging and steep learning curve.
The Culture
The other interns at my department were all great people and we often met and discussed projects we are currently working on. I believe this networking will be useful for us in the future.
I have been living in London for a long time, so I was used to the cost of living here. I live in central London, so I did not spend much money on socializing around Canary Wharf.
I haven't attended nightlife events around CW.
Yes, regular charity initiatives events were held, which were open for everyone at the bank.
