The Role
The work was engaging and the team were very easy to get along with.
My colleagues respected my work and were confident in using it in their own projects before it was fully completed.
My manager and mentor provided the right level of help any time I needed it.
Overall, my manager planned my workload very well. There were periods when he was extremely busy and had to drip-feed me tasks when he could, but in the end there were few dull moments.
I was given freedom to choose how to complete tasks, with my manager shaping the overall vision of the products.
The skills I have learned should come in useful for my University coursework and for my job.
The Company
Colleagues were happy to chat, in the tea room, canteen or at our desks. Regular social activities were organised, such as pub trips and lunches.
The placement was very well organised, including extension task work for when I finished ahead of schedule.
The company is very committed to Training and Development, with weekly reviews of my T&D Plan with my manager. Both my manager and I shaped the items on the plan.

I have already had a second interview for a graduate job on the back of my internship, and would be happy to return.
The Culture
Fellow interns regularly meet for lunches and team events. We have group chats set up on the IM software, and sharing a house with several of them is a great experience.
Living in London is not the cheapest, but only to be expected.
There are many pubs, but not much else in Enfield for Nightlife. We occasionally took a train to other areas of London for nightlife.
There were inter-team games and events ongoing during the summer, including things like Rounders and Bowling.
