The Role
All expectations were met and exceeded in every area.
Very friendly culture in A&O. Despite being around only for 3 weeks as an intern we were treated very well and with respect.
Graduate recruitment team were exceptional. My trainers were very accommodating and were responsible for my insight into the law. The other A&O fee-earners were welcoming and sought to ensure that I was busy and happy.
Kept very busy with a great balance between interesting and challenging work at the desk, insightful talks, work related games and activities outside of work.
There is only so much independence and responsibility an undergraduate untrained in law can expect to have in 3 weeks. However, I was given a number of tasks that were my own to complete, including one that took 5 days to complete. In this sense I was given as much responsibility as was reasonable.
All the skills that I developed during the 3 weeks are applicable throughout my studies and later life.
The Company
Very friendly, but productive and professional.
I cannot fault it.
A strong sense that we would be the next generation for the firm, which made us feel important and that we were being invested in.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
Have not been given a job offer yet, but would be very excited by the prospect of one.
The Culture
Great combination of organised socials and out of office fun.
Expensive - as you would expect in London. A good amount of socials were funded by the company.
Shoreditch is a great area.
Played cricket for the firm in my first week.
