The Role
It has been a great experience and thoroughly enjoyable. The extra department talks, city tours and socials made it enjoyable.
I felt very values by most members of the team. I was given work by all the team from Directors to Graduates.
The guidance from my graduates was invaluable and they are going to continue to help me with my future studies and application processes. My directors were also extremely supportive.
I was given a good amount of work on a daily basis. I always had something to do and was often busy doing different jobs for different people.
I was given a good amount of responsibility throughout the placement. My responsibilities increased as the placement went on and my capabilities increased.
I have developed my written and verbal communication. I have learnt how to write reports, produce excel schedules and call agents to gain relevant information for our clients.
The Company
The general atmosphere was extremely friendly and welcoming. All members of my team were approachable and friendly. It is a very good office to work in. The sense of team work is second to none at Savills, across teams, within teams and across departments or even regional offices.
The placement was very well organised.
I feel the firm could invest in personal training a bit further. there could be excel or report writing sessions rather than just department talks to actually enhance your skills.
The future employment prospects are very appealing. the placement puts you in a very good position to gain further experience in the firm and get onto the graduate pathway following a successful appraisal.
The Culture
The social scene among colleagues was good. Among interns, even better!
Expensive.
Good lots of bars.
