The Role
I had a great time, immediately felt part of the company from our first meet and greet breakfast on the Monday.
From being introduced to my mentor I was incorporated straight into my team, which was City Investment and Agency. My key contact prepared a on going redevelopment project for me which I was been working on during the duration of my intern but I was always included in meeting with clients and site visits
Throughout HR was always extremely welcoming if ever you wanted to speak to them. We have had Mid placement reviews and a final one.
Everyone knew I had a on going redevelopment project, but I was always offering to help and get involved with all different types of work. So constantly busy.
I have done tasks on my own in and out of the office and always been incorporated into meetings in which I have had to prepare or analyse data and expand on upon the meeting.
I can now understand how modules I learn from a text book can be incorporated into the surveying world.
The Company
Always busy and due to the layout of the offices everyone is very approachable
We had events organised, departmental overviews, lunch and learns, rounders matches in Hyde Park and throughout my intern I felt that I have really got to know the company.
Through spending time with directors, researchers and HR which will all be helpful in the future. European internship offers whilst on the internship, now I am going to Poland in August.

Exciting! Finding out through the internship that 40% of the directors at Savills started on the graduate scheme!
The Culture
HR created a page on the connect page for all the interns to have a chat and social events were held at the beginning of the placement for us all to get to know each other. Automatically friendships were made and there constantly seem to be things going on for interns every night which we have arranged. I have been out for lunches with my team and directors on different occasions.
Expensive, but I knew that would be the case going to London.
Great Fun!
Sports nights and I was part of the graduate charity.
