About You
I had an amazing time on my vacation scheme. I was exposed to a wide variety of work and I was able to witness the firms supportive culture first hand. I have really enjoyed the events that the firm has arranged, they have been very helpful. Also, the evening events were a great chance to get to know my fellow interns and other employees at the firm.
I felt very valued by everyone in both of the teams that I worked in. I was asked to complete important research tasks and I felt that I was really helping out.
I have been lucky enough to be sitting with my supervisor in my second seat, which has been a great source of day to day support. Additionally, both of my supervisors and trainee buddies were always happy to help me with any questions that I had. Also, I felt able to approach other trainees, associates and partners in my departments for help or guidance when needed.
The research skills that I have gained over the past three weeks will really help me with my law degree next year. I was already aware of how to conduct legal research - however, I feel that I am now able to find the most relevant resources quicker. Additionally, I have acquired skills in time management and planning, which I am sure will help me with my work load at university and beyond.

I was able to witness the culture first hand. I have realised that the firm as a whole is very welcoming and supportive but everyone is also very hard working and motivated, which works well together.
