The Role
Really friendly office in which i never felt alone. Great accomodation service to set us up with friends for the summer so that were never bored. The work itself is a bit dry but thats to be expected of being an intern.
Line manager and other collueges are always happy to give me extra work and trust me to carry it out on my own. Been invited to the pub and allowed to ask all kinds of question. Get true honesty and not a company voice for the answers.
Line managers and the other people in the office are always happy to help you out, in fact they'll pretty much drop what they're doing if they can afford to.
Always something to keep me busy but never felt very pressured to reach deadlines and goals.
I was given the responsibility to get on with my own work but I never felt the company would suffer particularly much if i didnt finish it.
Deffinetely got excellent first hand experiance in the industry. Learned more overall about the day in and day out of asset management. This will prepare me to work with asset managers in the future and what they expect.
The Company
pretty dry. the people around me were good guys but its a lot of quiet, staring at computer screens for much of the day.
Very well organised, there was soo many of us but they coordinated it greatly.
The company has invested so much in me that I feel guilty for not wanting the graduate job. They offer all kinds of training and days out just so you can see more of the best side of the job.

I'd love to work here, but its not the next step in my personal development.
The Culture
Social scene was deffinetly one of the best things about the placement, there's always something to do and someone to talk to.
Windsor is expensive.
Egham is probably one of the most boring places i'll ever live but Windsor was a lot of fun.
Always work to be done and the charity groups/football/gym things to do.
