The Role
Very much so, the trip to bradenham along with client meetings meant I wasnt just based in the office. The people around me were consious in giving me a well rounded workload so I could get a great understanding of the things they did.
Everyone here had alot of time for me and would go out there way to introduce me to new work and bring me along to meetings where possible.
Support was always available when I required it, also no one was watching over my shouler or 'micro managing' me.
Most of the work generated was by by asking people if and when they need work doing, therfore if i didnt have any I simply had to ask.
I was given a good level of repsonsibility where I could use my initiative, but also someone was there to check or for guidance if needed.
The ability to juggle several tasks and prioritse is something I have devleoped.
The Company
Very friendly but hard working environment.
Very well, everything was organised so I could concentrate on the work and getting a good feel of Grant Thornton
The firm invested alot of money and time into developing me, from the 2 days in Bradenham to the day to day training in the office.
Financial Bonus
Very appealing.
The Culture
Yes we were bought together twice with people from other offices, as well as internal engagement days, lunches etc.
I stayed in my university house so that was of no additional cost, socialising is averagely priced maybe a slight premium on drinks.
Very good although it was only 6 weeks so I cant comment properly.
Yes this varies with how busy you were on the day.
